Jeleena de Muze is Vice-World Champion

The Championship of the 5-year-old horses was won by Think Twice 111 Z (by Toulon), ridden by Thierry Goffinet. This rider won earlier this year also the Belgian Championship with this half-sister of Winningmood van de Arenberg. The second place was for Lorenzo de Luca with the mare Jeleena de Muze (Tornedo Fcs x Chin Chin), bred by Christel Baert. When the Cycle Competition was halfway, Stephex bought the mare. Jan Motmans just mist the podium with the stallion Jaguar (Chopin van het Moleneind x Cicero van Paemel Z). Jaguar was bred  by Georges Aerden. Jonna Ekberg ended on the fifth place with Jasmien van de Bisschop (Larino x Chin Chin), bred by Tom De Craene. Jasmien belongs to the line of a.o.Kleiner Onkel 141 (by Heartbreaker) who jumped 1.60m level under Franke Sloothaak.

Bronze medal for Kannabis van de Bucxtale

The World Championship for 6-year-old horses resulted in a nice podium place for BWP. Like in the class of the 5-year-olds,mostly Irish and Dutch horses occupied the podium. But also the BWP gelding Kannabis van de Bucxtale (Contact van de Heffinck x Concorde), bred by Jurgen Goethals, reached the podium with his Belgian rider Thierry Goffinet.

The combination ended on the third place after one jumping fault in the jump-off.  Last month, they got the silver medal  in the Belgian Championship in Gesves.

Le Diamant Horta among the prize winners in the 5-year-olds

Out of 53 starting combinations, 20 reached the jump-off.

Among them, the BWP approved stallion Le Diamant Horta (Diamant de Semilly x Parco), bred by Annelies Breynaert. The stallion is the full brother of Erenice Horta and was ridden by Walter Lelie. For a long time, a place on the podium seemed real after a clear jump-off, but finally they had to be happy with the sixth place.

They also won the Cycle this season; they did not take part in the Belgian Championship as they focused on the World Championship.

The golden medal was for the Dutch rider Willem Greve  with the Dutch bred horse Garant (by Warrant).
