This weekend the 5 star competition in Hickstead took off. This is also the stage for the important Nations Cup. The Belgian Warmblood horses showed themselves in the first test. Juan Carlos Garcia won the 1.50 with Belgian Warmblood Elite stallion Gitano ( Nabab de Reve X Ti Amo van het Lambroeck). This stallion was born in the stables of Eric and Jacqueline Maes Lybaert.
The 1.45 was won by the Irish men Billy Twomey ( Thomas, S. Quidam de Revel). Guy Williams got third place with Depardieu vh Kiezelhof. Tim Stockdale got fifth place with Erasmus v Heffinck.
